To the right you can see the hull with the centre board trunk
installed. It is now July 21, 2001. In order to install the
centre board trunk I had to make the centre board first to ensure that
every thing fits properly. |

It is now July 26, 2001 and its been a wet summer. The rain is nice because
it helps clean the amine blush off the surface. It is important to
clean the surface well before recoating. The second layer may not
cure if the amine blush is not removed. |

This is after two coats of Epoxy and Glass Cloth |

Installing the Skeg |
It is now August 4, 2001. I have now come to the conclusion
that I will not be launching this year. I still have way to much
work to do and where I live, north of 60, it is already getting nippy at
night. I still have to make and install the deck, make the mast, paint,
etc, etc, etc. This picture was taken at 9:30 pm. You can see
that the light is already starting to fade. The long days are over.
The white on the hull is epoxy and filler. 406 colloidal silica.
Much to hard to sand so I ordered some 410 Microlite. |

This a shot of the glued up
mast. In this picture you can see the opening of the base and the
1/2" spacers waiting to be trimmed. It is now August 12, 2001.. |

This is a shot of the mast after shaping and cutting the
heel taper. |
Its now August 17, 2001 and I am
getting the hang of this boat building thing. Its a shame that
summer doesn't last longer. |
